Does Anyone Know How To Get Printer Ink Stains Out?

So somehow we've managed to drop a broken printer ink cartridge on the wooden floor without knowing about it and we have a black stain underneath the printer desk, does anyone know of a method to get this stain out without actually damaging the wood flooring itself?

Im really not in the mood to get down on my hands and knees to re-sand and re-seal the floor or to have to rip out a few sections and replace them with new slats.

Anyone know of a method of removing black printer ink safely?

My friend that did my floors says that onece anything gets "into" the wood it is impossible to get it out. All you can do is cover it up or replace the affected area. An anual treatment with sealer helps but won't stop things from seeping through if it isn't cleaned immediately after a spill.

Can you put a rug over it?
