Do You Focus More On Unique Visitors Or Bookmark Traffic?

When it comes to the sites, blogs, etc, you operate, is your primary focus getting more unique or more bookmark traffic to your websites?

At the moment i have actually been working on building up bookmark traffic to several of our larger sites vs. attracting 'new' surfers to them, i was wondering if anyone else was focusing on building up repeat visits vs. new ones?

So you arent concerned with building surfer loyalty to your sites?

Personally, id take 1000 bookmarked hits over 1000 new surfers hitting my sites any day... Especially if they have proven to be loyal visitors time and time again.

hehe...I am saying I would take 1 sale generated from 1000 bookmarked OR new surfer hits over 0 sales

I agree with Luke except I'd rather get 1 sale from every hundred visitors regarless of how they got there

Actually i also prefer sales and i guess for me it comes more from unique visitors.
