Probably not, i dont use exclusive content so dont really care if it gets shared or not, sure it dilutes the effectiveness of it over time but realistically, not spending a few hundred plus bucks per shoot im really not all that bothered if the content i have licensed ends up on torrents or tube sites, ill have already gotten my use out of it by the time the site updates next anyway.

Just one less thing for those of us not using exclusive content to worry about ultimately, means we have more time to actually run our businesses.

    I'd block them!
From my experience, surfers that use torrent sites are the same ones that know every password sharing site and have slurping programs to dowload your entire site as they sleep.

They are also the same people that hide behind proxy servers to cloak their location so not sure how effective trying to block them would be.

    That's flawed logic

Like saying "They download an exact copy of the Matrix but it's free advertising for Warner Bros." NO it's like free advertising to STEAL more movies from Warner Bros.

More like a shoplifter that likes Hershey bars.. he's just gonna steal as many Hershey bars as he can BECAUSE he can and because he likes Hershey bars. :bananacock:

Kinda sucks that Neo was a hacker in The Matrix. Stealing isn't sexy, it's cowardly.

Im not defending content theft because it IS wrong however, time and time again it has also been proven that when someone downloads content from a paysite that is exclusive, they will typically join the site or at least start asking around where they can find more 'similar' content.

As i say, im not defending content theft but there is a reason why content should be watermarked, exclusive or not.... There is no black and white other than 'it is theft'.

    Blocking IP's is counterproductive

    1) A surfer who is blocked can easily change his IP

    2) Others sharing the IP are affected. e.g. roommates, employees of companies that use proxy servers., etc.
