Yes. Right now relying mostly on rebills. But that's Jan. But sales will pick up again soon.

The past 3 years, January was my biggest month, but Jan 2010 is the lowest month of the past 12 months.

2 of my VOD providers took 2-4 weeks off, and 1 moved and didn't tell me until 2 shipments later...

Without a new release every 2 weeks, a studio's titles no longer get top billing in front of surfers.

But necessity being the mother of invention, I figured something out today which turned some bucks the first few hours I made it live.

Back to 2009 - September was my biggest month of the year!!! What did I miss?? September!?!

Well january always been a slow month for us. Some weeks have been better than others. Maybe people decided to give to Haiti instead of wanking this year.

We are actually doing pretty good this month. Our mobile is rocking and we just released a new redesign of our malespectrum.com site that has resulted in conversion rations of 1:51.

Mobile is my area of growth this month as well. For me it is mobile photos, in a program that allows smartphone users to download my photobooks as ebooks.

I sell clips on my own, but not sure if smartphone users do that from their phones, or just on their desktop/laptop computers.

I still need a better technical sales channel for smartphone clip sales and downloads.

sales are up january for us, but we did release some new things so that looks to be the driving force... everyone should be settled back into the swing of things shortly... nothing to see here, move along fellas

I'm still trying to figure out how and why September was the best month of the past 30 months!

That's so strange, because in my experience September (while not the strongest month) is always a VERY strong month.

Back from vacation, back in normal schedules, back consuming lovely, dirty porn!

January started out very strong, actually "best month ever" type strong, but petered out in the final week.

I'm also noticing a massive trend towards non-recurring purchases, so the rebills are not mounting up like they used to, although initial purchases are larger.

In the course of my daily work as a studio, recruiting talent for my movies, I am discovering that a large, and growing larger, percentage of men are using their phones for everything from e-mail, to YahooIM(!), even page browsing.

My entry steps into mobile have found an audience.

I am sad that my VOD partners are not more actively embracing/targeting the mobile market, with mobile friendly versions of their sites - and my content.

january was a great month for us. february is looking outstanding too. seems the economy is picking up beautifully!

Beginning of January was surprisingly good, then things died off, and now, they've picked up again.

I agree, the start of January was actually an excellent beginning to the yyear, however, it pretty much slowed back down to an average month by the end of the month.

We did however see some exponential growth on the mobile side of things with our mobile program(s) to the point where we're actually putting some other projects on the back burner to get our mobile sites up and running in their entirity a lot quicker.
