Why choose ccbill over epoch?

This is just an innocent question...

why do most webmasters chooses a sponsor(s) having ccbill as payment processor over sponsor(s) have Epoch as payment processor? :lb

Is that still true?
I was under the impression that they were pretty even players right now, due to cascading billing.

CCBill always had a great reputation in the gay industry and always took the time to really put the work into the gay industry, which is probably why they seem to be (or are) at the forefront today.

Program owners and webmasters do tell me all the time that they get more sales with Epoch, and that CCBill scrubs too hard, so I know a lot of companies that are using both processors so they can maximize their traffic and sales opps.

I mostly promote bigger programs which use a variety of processors, so I never even know who the end user is buying from. The checks come from the program rather than CCB or Epoch.

I use Epoch for my processing (because they give me a better rate) and it cascades to CCB. I've never once had a sale cascade to CCB, so maybe the theory about scrubbing is true.


Also, I can't think of a single other affiliate program that uses Epoch exclusively. Epoch should put me in a testimonial ad...

Simply put, as a program owner, you will get more affiliates joining your program if you utilize CCBill for processing than you would using Epoch, this has been the case for many years and even some of those people who have in the past said this isnt the case, have added CCBill to their programs and realized how true that statement actually is.

In addition though, i have always found that CCBill are willing to support the gay community whereas Epoch have only ever tried to profit from and manipulate it.

If you are using affiliate software on your site, you might also want to check out http://www.wtseu.com as an alternate processor too

we used epoch before. epoch only caters to big players. epoch's affiliate program as a webmaster program owner sucks. i would suggest ccbill over epoch any day.
wtseu seems good too.

Reputation. Many surfers are familiar with CCBILL and know that no scam is going on. So simply put better conversion. Might take some time for other processors to gain that kind of trust.

Also the admin page both for program owners and affiliates is simply better.
