Memberarea Design for Plugin-Feeds

Hi y'all

discussing the design of memberares consisting of just plugin feeds and content with a few fellows we came up with nothing at all... we all were quite uninspired...

HOW could I design a member area consinsting of nothing but plugins? Use Frames? Just links and open 3rd party content in a new window? Make the efford of creating small screens for everyting?

What would you do? How do you do it right now?

again... how would you implement those plugins? frames? one nice html file with links and/or screens? how did you do it... how do others do it?

The most common way of implementing feeds is using links. The links are embedded into banners. When a user clicks a feed (banner) a new window opens with the video. This is a page that the feed provider host.

Some people do use iframes to keep the users on their members area page. This avoids making the user open multiple windows.

I could give you the html file for our Portal plug-in. This would allow you to host that page and you could make your own design changes. Our Portal page displays banners for each feed with the links embedded and it has a navigational bar at the top of the page.

pluginfeeds has rss setup for its feeds here: http://www.pluginfeeds.com/2.0/index.php?action=updates which let you easily integrate the rss into your paysite

porn2go has something similar at http://www.porn2go.com/updates_dynamic.cfm but unfortunately they don't divide that into gay/straight, its all one feed.

others prolly have similar options too
