How Do I Post A Link To A Facebook Page?

Im currently in the process of setting up a Facebook page for GWW but i cant figure out how i go about setting up one of those funky little Facebook 'add' links so all someone has to do is click it and they will become a fan.

Does anyone happen to know how i would go about setting this up please?

Ummm, there seems to be a difference between having a page where people become Friends (i.e. Personal), vs a page where people become Fans (i.e. a Business or entity).

Once a Personal page has been created, the Person creates the Fan page, and becomes the Admin of the Fan page.

http://www.facebook.com/pages/create.php - perhaps this is only viewable from within a Personal acct page.

But, FaceBook is fluid, what works one day, might be a bit different the next. I have created a Group page.

This brings up a question... I thought you couldn't use Facebook for adult oriented sites?

You can use facebook for adult oriented sites. I'm actually in the process of building out ours. I do think there is a difference between adult and 18+ (more softcore) but check out Playboy and Hustler's pages... they seem to be doing well.

One thing that I think Lee is alluding to, that I couldn't find the answer to is:

How do you put one of the cute little blue F logos on your own domain website, for customers to click and become friends of Fans on our FaceBook page??

If you manage a fan page, log in and in the upper left below your profile photo, hit "edit page". Then there is a ton of stuff here, but on the right, half way down you'll see "Promote with a fan box." From here you can get the code for a fan box or a badge. There are other options too, just pick "Widgets Home" and see what is available.

Yep! Personal page first, then make a fan page. However, you cannot push people to become a fan, but you can request them to become a friend from a personal page. So first you need to request friends and then request your friends to become fans! It's a bit of a pain, especially for me whom my friends on my collin o'neal personal page don't really want to migrate to become a fan...why?

Well, friends on a personal page can IM with you, but fans on a fan page cannot IM you and sometimes fans want to try and talky talky with you via your private page

Yup. I had to create a "Gay Live" personal page to then suggest people to use the "1800GAYLIVE" fan page. The personal page gets a lot of junk on it lately with people sending me "hearts" and "kisses" and other crap,

Yup! but never tell a fan to stop or screw off! Just let them know you are a busy person and try to veer them to be fans.

Oh yeah, I would never do that. I just come here to vent about them instead, LOL. But when it gets out of control, I do remove that stuff from the wall so it's not cluttered with those pointless notices.

Well what im wanting to do is change out the 'Twitt Gay' link above (just below the thread navigation header in that blue box) to a GWW Facebook page link so people can become fans of the GWW Facebook.

Is this possible to do?

Be warned. Our Japanboyz facebook fan page reached over 1000 members and then they deleted it for no reason. All photos we posted were PG rated at most. They did not give us any warning or specific reason for the deletion, just sent an email saying our page as well as my personal account was deleted for 'violation of terms.'

If you are okay with the risk, don't use your personal Facebook page because they will delete that along with your fanpage.
