Are male strippers good model candidates?

Logically one would think that male strippers would be great candidates to approach about nude modeling but in my experience that is not usually the case. I'm not sure why... maybe they're making enough cash stripping, or maybe they don't want to go "public". Or maybe I've just had a bad approach.

What do you think? Have you had any luck finding nude models at male strip clubs?

No, never. Escort's are the same way. We've tried many times. I'd say we'd get 1 stripper out of 150 we ask. I don't get it... They'll put their dick in a customers face, but won't put their dick in another hot guys mouth. They'll get naked and do whatever with bar patrons but not on film. Oh well. For our films, we now only work with agents and talent scouts. It eliminates a lot of our hassle in getting talent.

Same here.
There is 1 bar in Florida where a number of strippers have done shoots.
Otherwise, I have never had any luck with strippers. Not sure why.

Both the Boardwalk Bar and Johnny's Bar in Ft. Lauderdale have lot's of strippers / dancers that like to do Gay or Gay for Pay porn.

A few of our models have came from Johnny's (Escorts, and dancers but we found out they danced there until after we filmed them). We've never really had much benefit with Boardwalk.

My sense of the "classier" strip clubs like Boardwalk is that the strippers make enough money there so they don't need to consider doing porn videos. Unless they have a drug habit and need even more cash.

I have only fair success finding models at strip clubs. My take on this is that the straight, bi and even some of the gay strippers are exhibitionists whose exhibitionism doesn't extend past the front door of the strip club. For whatever reason, modeling for the world to see violates the boundaries of their comfort zone.
