A Good Straight Board Is Hard To Find....

I've just spent the better part of a full day trolling many of the str8 webmasters boards out there.

I would truly love to know what keeps these guys in business - there are so, so many of them.

My mission was to find a main-stream board which is professional and a good networking place to meet with straight webmasters who are serious about doing business (rather than just being sig-whores).

I'm thinking the about the place around for this is Netpond - does anyone else have any suggestions?

Also the drop down menu at the very top of the board to be honest, the vast majority of our resources and forums are all primarily business orientated so tend not to have the usual 'bs' on them

Insofar as Str8 boards on a par with GWW (similar culture, professionalism and good people) I would suggest that http://www.netpond.com as already suggested and http://www.porncity.net.

I like http://www.gofuckyourself.com if for no other reason that 90% of it is absolute unfettered bullshit - from that perspective alone it can be good entertainment.

GWW is the ONLY board that I read EVERY thread because I have always found someting of value or pertinent interest in the majority - i.e. it's worth my time to do so.

Ya know in all honesty we havent for the pure reason that many boards who have had sections like that in the past have been full of nothing but spam posts.

As i said above though keep an eye out for something unique coming in the next month or so

I'd suggest Adult Webmaster Hangout as a good place for straight contacts and good people. It is gay friendly for the most part and has a good atmosphere that I enjoy but hey, just my opinion.

Just Blow Me (.com) has become a regular hangout for me. There's a nice mix of more business oriented adult webmasters there. :groovy:

One that I hang out on, while not really on the scope of total business, is Newbie Webmasters (newbiewebmasters.com). It's a really friendly board by the Hawg's Cash guys, and there are regular business discussions. And while it is more geared towards newbies, there are many members who have been there for a long time, and stay there because of the friendly atmosphere, so it's not all newbies. And, if you're looking for sponsor exposure, or something along those lines, it is a good place to start because so many of the newbies are not sure where they want to go, and are more willing to give your product or service a try.

You might give it a look see, and see if it's what you're looking for.

webmasterboards is a good choice.
People there are informative, helpful, experienced webmasters, as well as know how to have fun.
The board isn't so busy that your thread gets buried in just a day too.
I have been a member there for almost 2 years, and mod for about a year.
I guess I've joined almost every adult webmaster board, but find that WB is about the most comfortable one.
