    Happy 4th of July America

We've got the grill fired up and loaded to overflowing with chicken, steak and ribs. I'm about to mix up some macaroni salad and baked beans. No plans to go anywhere to see fireworks, as we can see a lot of them from our front yard.

So what's everyone else doing today?

Happy belated Bec! Dinner sure sounds good! We all had a beach party planned down here... but damn florida tropical weather storms postponed it until this weekend!

I fired up the grill as well and made hamburgers (made up of %50 ground beef and %50 pork sausage) and bacon-wrapped Andouille sausages. Then my roommate Lisa and I walked over to the top of the parking structure at the Palms and watched the spectacular fireworks show from Caesar's Palace. It was awesome. :joker:

Bec, there is no better argument for eating pork than a well-cooked Andouille sausage! And that recipe for burgers definitely adds a lot of flavor! You should try it sometime! :square:
