On a serious note, i think its more to do with the fact there are a lot more hookup apps for the iPhone than there are for the Blackberry.

I guess if you take into consideration how many apps there are that people use strictly for hooking up then this could be true. I know I have friends who have the iPhone and they are constantly on these apps. So it could very well be true.
