What Is The 1 Job You Hate Doing?
Mine is going through all of the domain names we own and making sure they are working, hosted or removed from the server if i have let them expire.

Tweaking HTML! Especially, when it's a template and I have to make it work to someone else's specifications.
Then, again, writing 1000 one-line marketing text in one sitting can take it's toll, too.

Are you just replacing linking code or banners and text as well?
If its just linking codes i have a server side script/command around here somewhere i can dig out thatll go through EVERY single page on your server and do a mass search and replace.

Banners and text as well, my margins are already tight enough, so I feel it's important to change out old selling material with promo images and text that targets the new sponsor, and adapts to the content and keywords.
So it's hours of hand labor for now.
I consider using openx, and probably should - but I cant trust doing EVERYTHING in it, so I'm doing a bunch of stuff by hand this week.
What I fear is that the sponsors I am switching to will also fail, or get oversold, etc.
but you should post a link to that script anyway, if I don't have it I probably should. and others have to be doing the same kind of depressing work.
For me it was video editing, made all the worse because I was in most of my own scenes. I loathed seeing myself on film and was extremely critical of my own videos.
When it finally dawned on me that I would never have to edit another video as long as I live I was happier than when I walked out of my last college English class.

Editing pictures is ridiculously monotonous. Considering that I have A LOT to learn, I am sure that lee will have me doing new stuff to complain about soon.

I got out of that grind a while ago and now hate it, have to remember where all the buttons were on Dreamweaver which had stuff moved around making it more CSS friendly.
Also having to constantly optimize traffic, now I've become obsessed how to automate that :donmike:

That was baptism by fire when I first started back in the day, Dom! The lady who got me into the adult industry had me resize every one of my images by hand... just because. After I did that she showed me a resizing tools in the program we used at the time... I think it was called 'hot dog' or 'sausage' back then, There is a sense of irony there. LOL
