Another Paysite Members Area Question

Okay so ive been drawing up plans to make some more members area layouts for various sites and figured i would ask you guys if you had seen any features inside a paysites members area that you actually like that isnt something you see all the time?

For instance, do you think somethink like letting members see the top viewed content sets or movies is something usefull or perhaps, giving the members the ability to 'vote' on specific items within the members area would be good features to have?

I know a few sites that do this ow but to me at least, it seems like a waste by showing what the most viewed content sets are because well, everyone likes something different so just because 1000 other members liked the set of 2 guys fucking while doing acrobatics it doesnt mean every other member will.

So what do you folks think would be good features to have in a members area that not everyone does?

Im already in the process of adding polls and other ays to get feedback from members so im looking for methods of not only improving their surfing experience but also methods that will help ME when it comes to maximizing the profit off each member.

do you have a forum? naughtyamerica has a forum, and although only max 10% of the members post on it, more read it than that. the photographer posts, some of the models post, and the members get to talk with them and even do requests.

i like the idea of making them feel like they're a part of the site. it's very involving when you can talk to performers, the site owner and the photographre.

Actualy yep we do have communitys in all of the Stud Money sites

That was the one thing i made certain we had LOL

I just wish i could persuade Gary to change the scrpt being used to VBulletin though haha.

u know i had this big post typed up and then i decided that it was more about retention than about actual stuff to include in members areas... so, ill save it for another day.

patti is right... message boards, interaction, etc. polls and good too. voting on photos & videos is great. and yeah, dont generalize it, personalize it for each member. sounds hard eh? its not and of course personal favorites are excellent. there is a lot more u can do, but id like to keep a few tricks for myself. besides, you guys touched on the big ones, i think you can handle it from here...

as for increasing per member revenue... my advice? stop selling to them. yep. stop selling to them. there is nothing worse than joining a site and then getting the feeling that youre constantly being upsold. so, stop doing it. how? think.

dont sell lube to your members, get them a discount. does your member have a favorite brand of condom? get him a good deal on them. pay per view theater? fuck it! give your loyal members a free movie now and then. i bet they not only stay longer but they buy more ppv later on. and for christ sake dont sell your members a dvd, give it to them for free! (this one requires some thought, im not gonna explain it)

We actually do except when I need to do something and he's asking me questions or to look at stuff when I'm trying to finsih my own work LOL And if you those of you reading this can't tell... it's been happening a LOT for the past three weeks LMAOPIP
