Porn to stop piracy by 2012

I just read in this article about a retreat that happened last week in Arizona, hosted by Pink Visual, to get the industry to fight p2p porn sharing as a team.

The meeting was very secretive, but they did say that several studios have agreed go after both the tube sites and large torrent tracker, and they set a goal to stop porn piracy by Jan 2012.

This is interesting, does anyone know more about this?

speaking of which, in todays news here, The Register is reporting that LimeWire is now dead. This was a result of the music industries suing them, not the porn consortium mentioned above....but good timing never the less!

Not to be a Debbie-Downer, but....
There's always going to be theft. Somebody will figure out a way to steal no matter what. I think perhaps the Porn Industry should also consider perhaps some technological means to protect their content.

I know the whole DRM was a real pain in the ass, but maybe they can come up with something similar.

But what the fuck do I know!

I hope they are successful, it's a huge drain on sales.
