Folks,

For those of you who had read my earlier thread (a couple of weeks ago)about my little bloke and his broken leg....

You will be happy to know he got put in his cast yesterday and we brought him home today!

WOO-HOO !

His cast goes from his chest down around his hips and both legs to the foot. A bar goes between his calves and he has a hole cut where we can hold him over a bucket.

He sort of looks like he is in a constant "bear in the woods" type posture :-) For 8 more weeks.

No one cares though - we are as happy to have him home as he is to be here.

You have to love the resilience of children... I can't imagine being in a cast for eight weeks, nevermind the type he's in.

I'm glad he's home again...

my son had to have something similar years ago...
and we drew a choo-choo train going across the bar
with colored permanent markers... one car to the train
every few days... he loved it...

First day at home with him (instead of the hospital) and already I am getting some work done and he is as happy as a pig in mud.

Cable TV and Playstation are our friends.
