I saw a big review site called Pam, it has loads of sites in it. Is this a good idea to build a new review site? What if I make a review site blog? That is a bit new idea.

I would suggest that it's a good idea if you're able to keep it going.

I regularly write site reviews for my blogs and they bring in a lot of traffic. But creating a blog solely of site reviews will be difficult after a while.
What do you add to it when you've written reviews for every site already?

You'll get to a point where you're only updating it once every three months when another gay site starts up.

It would be great for traffic simply because of the amount of text on the site (the more text there is the more Google traffic you'll get), but keeping it going would be tricky unless you can find enough sites to promote far into the future.

I do some reviews on gayonlyporn. I have to admit it can be very time consuming and it can be a double edged sword. If the site is crap you have to be honest and then your advising your surfers against spending money.

I think a mix of some reviews and some listings is a better balance.

A review site made with wordpress is not a new idea. There are several themes and plugins available to create one. I featured a post on one version here: ReviewPress

Do a google search for wordpress review site plugins and themes to find more alternatives. There was also a post or two by a guy on http://gofuckyourself.com in the buy/sell forum who has a review theme for like $30. Just go to the site and do a search to find the post.

Porn Review Sites That first page of results contains probably the top 5 review sites. Rabbits, TheBestPorn, freeones, Janesguide and Mikes. There are more of course that are high caliber, but that should give you some ideas on how to get yours in gear.

there are a lot of review sites out there, so do your research before you create a new one. The main issue will be writing the reviews. It takes time and you have to get creative...

There are lots of established review sites nowadays. So i guess it will be very difficult to make a new one successful.

You might want to do a combo site, do reviews, but also put up your standard blog posts with naked pictures and link the post to both your sponsor and to the review.

A site that is packed solely with reviews might not be all that interesting to surfers as it's on old business model. But if you do a combo, there might be more interest in coming back to see naked guys.
