Google released version 9 of its Chrome browser this week, which includes the WebGL standard for 3D hardware acceleration, the new Chrome Web Store, and Chrome Instant (a new tool that loads web pages as soon as you start typing into the browser's address bar, based on Google's Instant Search feature).
The release schedule for Chrome has seen a new version being put out every 6 to 8 weeks, as Google prefers to think of Chrome as a constantly evolving browser. All current users of Chrome will get auto-updated (there is no choice), but if you are not using it yet, you can download it from google.com/chrome.
Is anyone here using Chrome? I use firefox as my primary and I.E. as a backup browser, mainly for testing purposes. Stats show Chrome's popularity is rising, should we install it for testing purposes too?
