This customer is notorious for chargebacks.
We just had a chargeback come in from him today. I resourced him a bit because the name seemed oddly familiar....

He purchased a membership to one of our sites.
He rebilled for three months, then disputed all three months.

Last Summer he bought $300 worth of DVDs, then disputed on those as well.

October, he purchased a membership to gaybarebackvideos. He only purchased the initial and disputed that as well.

I've contacted our host (National Net) and CCBill to place a ban on his IP Address. You may want to consider doing the same.

Figured that I would share. He seems to be habitual.

I second that. There used to be. It wasn't for porn, but did allow any business to submit disputers. Anyone with a merchant account with a bank could get access, you just had to verify things. Then one day the site went down. It was US Based. When we processed credit cards through Woodforest Bank they referred us to it.

I wish I knew there was another. It's customers like these that really get under your skin and rip you off.

One time we had a customer from New York, this was years ago. He disputed a transaction and said "I didn't receive the product." The order was shipped UPS and he signed for it, signed his own name. We won the dispute.
But with CCBill (others I'm not sure), you can't fight back.

Perhaps if this customers excuse with his membership to a paysite, he could say "I couldn't access the content, so I disputed." We have system logs (phantomfrog) that gives a very nice display of his usage.

I would like to hear more about this negative database idea. What did it do? How could you use it? Any idea on software to use?

With that old site... You could visit it, login, and you can get information on all customers who are habitual offenders of credit card disputes. It gave you their name, city / state, email, IP, reason for disputes. It was really helpful.
