told godaddy to fuck off a while back and haven't regretted it, tho i did buy 1 domain when they had that 1.99 domain going on a while back

yeah I swapped over to GD a couple years back, when Domain Shack pushed their prices up to 9.99/year...I am wondering with all this news that maybe I should be looking at going back

I save money with Domain Shack. With them I can get a PO Box, and put my name as Web Master (rather than my real name) and then I don't need private registration at all... With GoDaddy I was having to get private registration - so it was more expensive. Also GoDaddy literally refused to stop billing me for SSL certs I was no longer using (long story).
