cozycampus forum closed

CozyCampus forum closed on May 20th. They silently announced their closure earlier this month:

"The end of this month marks 10 years for CozyFrog.com and the end of an era for our CozyCampus Forums. "

Wow, 10 years and its now gone! I remember posting there quite a bit a few years back, helping newbies get into adult. I guess there's just not enough newbies coming in anymore????

Wow, that was my first board. Wonder if we'll ever hear on the why's of closing it down.

This is obviously difficult in many ways but at the same time, we feel it's the right decision for COZY moving forward due to several reasons including the huge decline in Forum traffic and sponsor support.

Like everything else. Less traffic and no sponsors.

Sigh... kinda sad and comes with a twinge of guilt. So many boards, so little time - and that was one of those I really liked, but just never got around to.

Many boards are now either gone, ghost towns, or have been just plain taken over by spam bots

I remember back in the early 2000's everyone and their brother had a webmaster forum up and running, and people posted all over the place, then the list just got smaller and smaller and smaller, I can't even keep up anymore on what is still up and what is now 'gone'

Just last year when I was handling Hentaibiz's day to day stuff I would "visit" about 30 boards per day, and by July when I left HB my list of 30 boards were damn near down to 15.

with that said though, I'm STILL thinking heavy about launching a toon webmaster board, we've been lacking one since Bestat closed animeresources years back.
