Google Analytics Alternatives

I have been looking at alternatives to Google Analytics. It is very good but has anybody tried this free and open source alternative called Piwik? It seems as simple to use as Google Analytics.

I use Google Analytics and Piwik. I actually have three different installs of Piwik. It's a little hassle to maintain and isn't quite as easy to read or as informative as Google Analytics. However, it handles Google Images traffic properly, so the numbers you get from it are more accurate than Google Analytics.

the funny thing is...

on one site I use Google, Piwik, AwStats and Webalizer... and NO two statistics are the same... so it's kinda like with religion... stick to what you think is best for you - IF you think you don't need statistics besides the baseline paychecks it's fine, too

I've tried Piwik a few days now. Although it looks nice, I feel I'm not getting quite the same amount of info as with Google's Analytics. I'll follow your advice Develish, and stick to what I know. :-)
