Gay Porn Vide Tube is now accepting video clip submissions.

Gay Porn Vid Tube is committed to providing a legal and legitimate option for affiliates, webmasters and sponsor’s to showcase and promote their sites through embedded video clips.

By submitting content to GPVT you get 4 great ways to promote your sponsor’s content through banners and links.

1. A link within your user profile to the site of your choice. It can be your personal site or a sponsor’s site such as a tour page.

2. You will be provided space for a 468×60 banner above your submitted video clip.

3. If you use a sponsor embedded video they usually will contain a link to the sponsor’s site.

4. A call to action with a link of your choosing beneath the video clip.

- Interested parties will become "Authors" which mean they can supply all the information for the clips themselves.

- You can submit UNLIMITED clips whenever you want.

- I will create a site (channel) page for any sites you want so that all of the clips you provide for a certain site will have it's own page.

GPVT also offers a link to the 2257 Compliance Statement pertaining to the site you are promoting.

You are allowed to submit 2 video clips per 24 hour period as long as you follow our guidelines.

Actually, as an affiliate, I'm not sure if it makes sense to submit sponsor's videos. My concern is that the same content would be submitted by different affiliates.

As for ratings and comments I'm not sure if this is still be done by surfers. Or if it has any kind of value for the surfer if a video is rated or commented. Personally I think it's a nice feature, but I'm on the red list of endangered species anyways.

And another thought ... write up and send out a press release about adding the new blog submission account feature to places like Xbiz and Ynot and other similar sites.

We would be happy to upload, allow you as an affiliate, etc.

Also, here's some options that I think may help you...

Create: domain.com/blog/
Install wordpress

Take the best videos, embed them into your blog.

Then, trade links with anyone and everyone on your blog. I think that will really help you develop more traffic.

There's also some tube link trades you could do.

Also, use Linkspun... The guys on there don't just trade links between blogs but also non-blogs. Such as on your tube site, you could create links at the bottom and create an area to trade links on.

Back to us.... We have about 400 1-4 minute clips we could get started on putting up. Plus, we update 3 times a week with 2 new videos... We would become an avid uploader.

Jay, you know I love your work. Your a really nice guy. I love your ambition in working with others, new developments on your sites, and one thing I really like about you is that when you find something not working for you - you change the site. If it's absolutely not working, rather than spending more money on a dead horse, you cut your loss and start something new from scratch. And your not shy when you have a problem.

Here's a little problem that I see with you, I'm not reaming your ass or attacking you any way, please don't take this offensive.

Others may not take you serious because it seems like every month or two your coming out with something new. And when you do come out with something new it seems the old project has disapeared. There's no problem with that. Absolutely no problem.

As an affiliate manager, I see sites doing this day in and day out. There's absolutely no problem in it. I have one affiliate that changes out sites every week. It does get on my nerves, but something may not sell for one person but will for someone else. So it's wonderful to try new things and who knows today's new affiliate may become our next big whale swallowing in the dough.

With all of this said Jay, I think you have a terrific site. I think it's the best site I've ever seen you show on GWW. KEEP WITH IT JAY! Build up traffic.

I've been thinking about what you said and I think I have a solution: I will let certain folks become contributors (since it's really just a Wordpress site) and once they have become one I won't allow anyone else from that sponsor to submit.

As far as comments go...I have always heard that comments were good for SEO. It shows the SE that you have something interesting and thus people are commenting on it. As far as ratings...I would like to know which videos are the most popular so I can focus on that sponsor.

I have a really bad habit of second guessing myself and I am just so full of self-doubt that I feel bloated all the time, LOL!

When I set-up Gay Porn Vid Tube I decided that I was going to stick with it. If I have a day where I'm not sure if I'm doing the right thing, I just step away from the PC for awhile. (Now I will also reread your post. I printed it so I can use it as a boost when I need it)

I'm going to utilize everything you and Bec and everyone else has told me and try to create the best site I can.

I have a really bad habit of second guessing myself and I am just so full of self-doubt that I feel bloated all the time, LOL!

Secondly, I would do a sub-domain or: domain.com/blog/ this way it helps your sites ranking especially with others trading links with you. That's my suggestion.

I wouldn't necessarily put every video update on your blog otherwise I think you would be shooting yourself in the foot. Right away, I would do about 20 posts, then update maybe once daily only with the hottest videos.
