What's the deal with these comments on my blog??

does anybody else get these sort of comments on their blogs?

"Great publish, I absolutely watch for updates of your stuff."

i am not that naive as to think this person/comment is a "normal" surfer. can anybody tell me why somebody would do this? should i just delete it or call it spam or what?

Lots of times its spam. they submit that type of post then wait to see if you will delete it. If you don't then the same message might be resubmitted with a link to some stupid shit.

I'd agree that it's spam. Probably a bot. If you want it to work in your favor, go in and edit the thing and add in some cool comment about the movie or whatever, mention the title or a model type thing. Otherwise, just delete it.

This is what I do, change the name a little, remove any email addy, add your own comment. In fact, sometimes I leave their name in the hope they'll notice on their next rampage through my blog, maybe it'll piss them off a little
