We have worked out a deal with the Manwin empire...

Anytime we find any form of videos that are pirated or suspiciously pirated, we have a direct contact (unfortunately, we can't share... However others can use their DMCA forms)... We email them a link to the video.. We say "This video is pirated" and they will remove the videos for us.

However, we have things to look for... Let's say the video is from the studio: ABC Producer. The uploader name is "ABCProducer" we can't report it... There's many different things we look for to be certain they are pirated. These are the things we look for:

Runtime
Listen to music
Production Quality
Logos
Familiarity of the movie (such as if you know an exact ABC Producer scene, we can report it).

We have to be 100% certain without any doubts what so ever that it is a pirated video. If it is in reality a fact that a user has uploaded his / her personal homemade video, it could piss off their consumer base. So we have to be very careful.

So far, just over 100 video links have been sent! So far out of those 100 video links, 27 videos have been removed!

Unfortunately, it's hard for them to ban a users IP. So they may ban a speciifc user, that user can re-signup to their sites and reupload their favorite video.

We do not need producers permission to email this over. This is an association between Manwin and ourselves. Which I'm sure producers who's content has been removed will be very happy with our progress.

One other thing a lot are wondering is I'm seeing a lot of Non-Exclusive paysites are watermarking content they've bought non-exclusively (such as Maxpixels). So let's say you bought a video from Maxpixels. You've watermarked that video with your site URL, we still have jurisdiction to remove them.

We skim through the tube videos, clicking on about every 30 seconds of time length. We don't believe that sponsors will upload videos that are 20+ minutes in length without any watermarkings. That's an obvious one.

I'm not exactly sure how this will work out, but at least we do have a shot.

I also hear they will begin moderating video uploads. Whether this is fact or fiction, it has not been confirmed yet.

Well, they are no longer cooperating. I did research on them, apparently they know they're allowing pirated content. But they just don't care and have been sued many many many many times for copyright theft / infringement.

They responded to one email stating, "we'll remove them." They never did. They changed their email address "I think" Ive emailed them from different ISP's and computers, same thing. They've basically deleted that email address.

I hate these guys. They're great for traffic. They do send us a lot of traffic as an affiliate and with Traffic Junky. I'm done. I give up on them... The best that I could do is to suggest EVERYONE to harass them if you find your content. Report the links to porn guardian. Signup with APAP (Free if your a FSC member). HARASS THE HELL OUT OF THESE GUYS!

NOW... XTube is owned by Manwin. HOWEVER, Kurtis is extremely good at removing videos / deactivating profiles. I'll email him per sa an email at night, first thing in the morning they're gone. We don't just email him ours. If we know for a fact it's a studio produced video, all I have to do is tell him it's pirated. No questions asked. I LOVE the guys at XTube. They actually do care. They're great super wonderful guys!

Watch them! Like a hawk! The second you see your content. Harass the fuck out of them!

Okay! I've disapeared for a bit.
I've taken my board time to do what I've been doing....

We're back on this deal with Manwin!
We've reported 113 illegal videos to them, these 113 videos have been removed.

The statement from Manwin is, "We're really trying to clean up, when we started tubes a while back we really got in over our head and could not moderate. It's not that we didn't care, it's we didn't know. We want to clean up and get the piracy down on our tubes. Send links over, we will have them removed within 24 hours."

Manwin is making an effort. This isn't only from them but other big players in the industry.

We are working on a back end system with them for us to automatically remove videos remotely. This is in the discussion between us and them.

Please anyone, if you see your videos on tubes. Email them over to us. We'll have them removed.

But we are having success. They're really moving onto the right track.
