I don't think I've done him yet. In the "Get to know" thread sense, that is.

You do realize by 'gay' I mean a man who has sex with other men?

    Thanks for the nod BDBionic.

    From Chris:

Did you ever have sex with a girl? If yes. with whom and where.

No, never. When I was 9-10 years old, I played "doctor" with a couple of the neighbourhood girls, that was the closest I've ever been to vagina, except on my way into this world of course.

When was your first homosexual experience? With whom and where.

Ten or eleven years old, with the father of one of the girls above, in his house. Shortly after that, I discovered my mother's stash of Playgirls.

    Top or bottom?

Bottom by choice, top by request.

What size cock do you perfer?

    7 inches.

What sexual postion is your favorite?

Oh there are so many ... knealing.

How long have you been in this industry? And how did you start?

I was hired by MANcheck in July 2001 as a junior web designer.

What did you do before you worked in the adult industry?

I was working at a video store and learning Photoshop and Dreamweaver in my spare time.

    From Tala:

    Animal, vegetable or mineral?

    Animal.

Cats or dogs? If neither, why?

Cats, and I have two of them, a brother and sister tag team of energy. They just turned one.

How old were you when you "came out" to your family? (No fair if you never really ahd to come out: I have a cousin who didn't have to come out; we all knew well before he decided to tell us. I was kinda like "Duh.")

I was outted when I was 18. Three weeks before I left home to go to University of Toronto, I met my first boyfriend Barry. He had broken up with his girlfriend at the beginning of the summer by telling her that he was gay. By the time I came on the scene, she still was a little on the bitter side. So, she started telling the whole town. It was a really small town, so it took like two minutes. My dad was a cop in that town and he found out while sitting in a coffee shop on one of his donut runs. My parents shipped me off to university without saying anything because they figured with me out of town, it would all just blow over. Except I keep sneaking back to town on weekends to see my boyfriend. By Thanksgiving weekend (in Canada that usually the first Monday in October, I think) I was hauled home to have to big talk, after which, I was told never to return home.

Favorite author(s), with titles of their works. (I'm a booknut)

Anything by Carol Shields, but the Stone Diaries is probably my fave.

Tales of the City, Armistead Maupin (This man weaves a wicked tale.)

    Le Malade Imaginaire, Moliere

I also loved the Hardy Boys as a kid.

I used to read a lot of fantasy. But I haven't read much since the Internet started talking off eight years ago.

    Favorite color?

    Blue

    There is no number six.

    ??? I don't understand.

Ideal romantic getaway, (money is no object)?

    Serengeti

Which accent do you find sexiest?

Oh dear, there are so many. I'm partial to anything Slavic. But I'm also really fond of Australian and southern U.S.

If you were a plant what would you be?

I love a flowering plant called a Bleeding Heart. But I'm also really partial to Ontario's provincial flower the Trillium. When I was just starting high school, my family moved from Oshawa to a small town further east. Mynew home was pretty rural and I didn't know anyone, so I spent most of my first summer alone. I took a lot of walks down by the creek, and one day,I found a patch of Trilliums. I dug one up, which is against the law, and brought it home. My mother planted it in the back garden under a birch tree. And now every spring she gets a whole patch of Trilliums in her garden. And that Trilliums home by the creek is now a sub-division. So while I broke the law, I saved that flower. (Trilliums are an endangered species in Ontario because people picked them like crazy. Hence the law.)

Given the option white chocolate or dark chocolate?

White. But seriously, if it's chocolate, I'll eat it.

    All time favourite movie?

Making Love. I'm sure it doesn't stand up to the test of time, and I've only ever seen it once, but it was the first time I ever saw two men kiss on the big screen.

One Christmas at the video store I was really depressed, so every night when I went in for my shift I play Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. I think I watched it over 30 times that month.

    Be back soon,

    from Jasun:

    What's your favorite band?

Sorry, you'll have me, but I never got over ABBA. I have over 120 ABBA CDs (ABBA only released 9 original albums) many of them bootlegs.

    So you speak French?

Actually, I'm half French-Canadian. My grandmother was French and I've traced my roots back to the first people who came to Canada in the 1600s. I didn't learn French until I started taking it in grade six. I studied French translation for two years at university, and I used to work as a bilingual reservations agent for Quality Inns, CP Hotels (now Fairmont) Sheraton, Venture Inns, and Journey's End Motels. I've lost most of my French through lack of use, but I can still muddle through.

Have you ever ridden a motorcycle? Would you like to?

I have. During my last summer home before university, I had a job at a provincial park. One of the guys I worked with rode a motorcycle. We went to his place for lunch one day and I rode on the back of his motorcycle.

Have you ever ridden a motorcyclist? Would you like to?

I'd prefer to be ridden by a motorcyclist. Were you interested in breaking me in, Jasun?

    Do you have a dog?

No, two cats. But when I was a kid, we always had boxers.

When you find yourself just sitting there staring at your computer's screen with no motivation to do anything, do you force yourself to work or just get up, and go do something else?

Naw, I usually end up wandering around the Internet, or going off and doing something else. But it really depends what I'm doing. If it's grunt work like resizing pictures, I'll usually stick to it. If it's creative stuff like writing copy and it's just not happening, I'll let it go and go do something else.

What was the last book you read?

I honestly don't read much. I've read most of Dr. Phil's Ultimate Weight Solution, I guess that would be the last one.

What will teh next one be?

I like something fun and fantasical. So make a suggestion, I really need to start reading again.

    Can you dance?

Yes. I used to even two-step.

tell us a fun fact about yourself.

Nine years ago, some ABBA girlfriends and I decided we wanted to march in the Pride parade. But we didn't know who to march with. We kind of wanted to make fun of all of the politically correct bullshit, so we ended up created a banner the said SM / ABBA. And we marched as S&M Fans of ABBA. We pushed a shopping cart with a ghetto blaster and I held a Swedish flag. Twice during the parade Swedish people ran up to us and started speaking Swedish. And we ended up getting passes to the premiere of Priscilla because the producers thought we were some big ABBA fan group with lots of members who would go and see their little movie.

    Cheers for now

Okay, is that it for the questions? We're leaving it there? I sure didn't want you guys thinking that I am just bottom bear who likes to be on my knees and wants Jasun to do me on a motorcycle while I read Moliere's Le Malade Imaginaire over his shoulder and swear at him in French?

Brunettes, bald men, redheads, then blondes.

do you prefer banners or textlinks?

I'm conflicted. I'm really a visual guy so I'd have to say banners, but since Ted calls me GoogleLord, I really prefer what's going to help my search engine rankings: textlinks.

tell us about the worst date you ever went on...

I tended not to be dater. I'd pick guys up in bars or bath houses, fuck, and then, decide if I wanted to see them again. If we didn't hit it off sexually, or they had really ugly feet, I wouldn't see them again. But now that I'm writing about it, I remember now. I did have one truly awful date.

I met a guy in a bar. He was hot and very forward. He asked for my number. I gave it to him and he called me the next night. We talked on the phone for a long time – we were really connecting. He wanted to make me dinner on Saturday. We talked a couple of more times on the phone and it was going great. I was getting excited because it had been a while since I'd had a more-than-a-fuck prospect.

Throughout our conversations I disclosed my HIV status and he said he didn't have a problem. He made me a nice dinner, and things were going well. He started telling me about his lover who died of AIDS. And as the story progressed he said that his family didn't know his partner had AIDS "and he expected the same from me." When I asked for clarification, it became abundantly clear that if I ever developed a relationship with this guy, I would forever have to deny my HIV status.

I had just spent the past month grappling with coming out in a bigger way by beginning to write an HIV-related column for a local newspaper. It's was a difficult decision back then to place yourself so squarely in the public's bullseye, and now this guy is telling me I have to hide who I am.

I was in shock and I didn't know what to say or do. He excused himself to go to the bathroom. At that point I just picked up my bag, walked down the flight of stairs to the street, and jumped into a cab that was waiting right there.

I used that event to launch my first column. I changed his name to protect his anonymity, but I talked about the importance of being honest and true to oneself. It was also probably one of the first times in my life I said, "No, I'm not going to be who you want me to be." Things changed after that.

So maybe it wasn't such a bad date after all.

fun and fantasical... ever read mercedes lackey? or the anita blake vampire hunter series?

I had a few lackey book, but never got around to them. I read a couple of Jack Chalker series that I really liked and another by Louise Cooper.

    Cheers

most people's worst dates - mine included - are sort of funny. yours was awful in a different way. it made me sad. i'm sorry you couldn't say it to him, but i'm glad you took off!!!!!!

if you enjoy fantasy/scifi, try michelle west. she's the best writer i've ever read - and i read a lot, especially in fantasy and scifi. her books are long and satisfying, her characters have distinct personalities from each other, she gives us pov from both sides of the situations so that both are seen as the good guys and the bad guys.

or if you like a different kind of fantasy, try winter's tale by mark helprin. it's beautiful and mysterious.

or try gossamer axe by gael baudino... where else can a bisexual woman from ancient ireland save her female lover from the sidhe with heavy metal?

Ok my turn LOL I just stopped working on that site I mentioned in theother thread LOL

    Here ya go, Michael...

I know many here feel they wouldn't want to be anyone else other than themself, which is fantastic. But, if you could be anyone other than yourself, just to experience a moment in their life, who would it be? (alive or dead, famous or family – your choice)

What one thing makes you so mad that you could scream?

What one thing makes you happiest?

Using the age-old formula, the name of your first pet and the name of the street you grew up on… what is your Porn Star Name?

    Star Trek or Star Wars?

Which is the most important ‘gay issue’ for you (choose only one)?

If you could go back in time and meet your younger self, and give him one piece of advice what would it be? And at what age would you choose the young Michael be?

When the time comes for you to shuffle off this mortal coil, what is the first thing you'd like to hear your maker say to you?
