Just wondering if anyone's running an adult blog. If so what software are they using to run it (hoping for something free) and where are they hosting it?

I'm starting up one using MoveableType

They have a personal free version but I'm gonna be gettin the base commercial version for a couple hundy.

Hosting it on my website that has a dedicated server. Implementing it in to the existing tables of the site and what not. I'm stoked about it

I was just about to ask the same question LMAOPIP

I want to add a blog system in the SM sites instead of writing html pages everytime I want to talk to the members.

I use blogger.com
free
and host with my own host...

it's quite easy to use...

mark is the only one that I can think of that runs them, but I would bet that it's a good search engine tool.

You may want to just try some and see if it's something you like.

Thank you for mentioning my name, guys! At last I'm an expert at SOMEthing.

I just installed Moveable Type for my newest blog site:

It looks like Version 3 has now been released. I paid for the commercial version just so I wouldn't have any problems with support later on. I also paid for installation, which others may not find to be necessary. I had to hire someone to do some CSS for me to jazz it up, but, design-wise it's really bare bones right now.

For now, I am just hosting it at godaddy.com, where I bought the URL. I figure, since it's mostly text, the bandwidth will be cheap.

Let me know if you have any other blogging questions.

For anyone interested, I am no longer writing for Gay Porn Blog and started GaySexBlog.org in it's place. I will be doing a big promotional blitz for the launch soon, and you all will LOVE my new approach! More later.

Hopefully soon I'll have my blog on gay porn stars up and running. I chose Movable Type as the script but could be convinced to change. I'm just waiting for my designer to create the site so it goes hand-in-hand with the gay porn star webring and the top list
