(Guess I can't edit the title after clicking save!!!!! Drat!)
I found - through Google - some of my stuff on www.safetorrents.com.
Did 1 DMCA, now the site doesn't load anymore. Maybe geo-IP blocking based on my webform msg to them?
Are these torrent sites truly teenage clowns from 3rd world countries looking to be pirates, or are they part of bigger empires, selling memberships to free content?

I can get to that site OK, so it may be blocking your IP.
Torrents are part of p2p networks where users store content on their computers and let others download that content directly from their computers. Of course, there is also a bunch of hackers that use servers for torrents. As far as I know, the hardest issue about taking down content from torrents is actually figuring out who is hosting that file, and due to the nature of torrents, its usually hundreds or thousands of computers hosting it (or hosting part of it) which makes it even more difficult.
That being said, I am not that knowledgeable on torrents as I have never used them myself. Maybe others can help enlighten us?
