    stats remote alternatives?

I have been using stats remote for the last 3 months, its a pretty neat tool & I really like it, but I really don't think it is worth the $30/month fee, ongoing for the rest of my life!!!

Does any one know of any alternative tools that do the same type of thing that I can buy outright? Or has any one programmed something like this for themselves that they would like to share?

    thanks,
    Luke

    luke...

here's what I found out for you so far...

the stats remote program has complete updates and reverification
of sponsors to add new ones, become aware of closed programs,
and has a support staff that does listen to and act on subscribers
feedback from the support feedback options provided within the program. if there wasn't ongoing complete reverification by
the staff of each sponsors status and adding NEW sponsors in
in an ongoing basis - - - then the software would become
outdated VERY quickly - - - hence the ongoing month subscription
    fee to keep you CURRENT.

alternatives that were mentioned so far - were:

one that costs about $99. per month and they couldn't remember
the name of that one or if it is still around

    and the other mentioned was:
    StatsTool:

this information was provided to me by a web wiz friend of mine
named Tom of TNB... I'd trust him with the keys to my house
so that tell's you how much I trust him...

I hope this information has been helpful to you...

if I hear of anything else - I'll bring it back here to you..

    I don't currently use Stats-Remote
but from what I have heard about it in the past from
people I respect (and admire) - - - it would be the
program of my choice if I were to use such a program...

i have tried various other programs but have found stats remote to be, by far, the best. For me, it is well worth the $30 a month to keep track of all of the stats i need to, be able to see various reports, and get an at-a-glance look at the day. the $30 is definitely worth all of the time i save looking up individual stats, giving me time to work on other things.

    my 2 cents.

The time I save using StatsRemote checking stats and the ability to tweak promotion and sponsor placement according to readily available conversion stats makes it more than worth the 30/month for me. Pays for itself and then some in my case.

I just sent thru an email...the gui version would be nice, the text version is a bit clumsy.

I have been testing out this program, for those that are interested here are my thoughts:
    - its a very basic version of a stats checker
    - it only has a limited number of programs that it works with
    - the gui is not a big deal, it does not add anything
    - it is easy to set up and easy to read the reports, which is nice
    - its free, which is extremely nice!

Overall, it is not that useful for me since most programs I am using are not included. I might try to figure out how to add in new programs, since this does seem to be a community effort, that would make it way more useful.

Any one else know of a stats checker program that I can try out?

    cheers,
    Luke
