PR = Page Rank. Go to google and download their toolbar. There is a "page rank" indicator on the bar that lets you know how well a site is ranked among it's peers.

So like if you go to one gay site and PR is 1 then you know that site doesn't have a lot of return links to it coming from other sites.

If you go to a site with a PR of 10 (Yahoo is PR10) then you know they are the shit.

And honey's I'm interested in the trade.
