Question about blogging....

When promoting other sites on blogs....

Should I set the links to open in a new window? Should I not? What do you do / think?

Trying to figure this part out... We used to have good conversions. But then they stopped. We're getting some great traffic. I'm thinking maybe this might have something to do with it. I don't know. I figured I would start here.

I generally open in new window as well, that way you don't lose the surfer from your original blog page and you let them easily return if they are not interested in the other site.

Okay, another question. Would this trigger pop-ups and cause browser pop-up blockers to block them in the various browsers (IE, Firefox, Oprah, Safari, etc.).

no its not a javascript launch its a normal html code for the longest of time
