For a site i am thinking about doing i want to use the word queer in the domain.
I what to do a GLBT erotic site. kind of a directory for erotic porn. plus shopping and blogs and other stuff? Is a good idea to us the work queer?

QueerClick is a very popular blog and I haven't heard any fallout over the name, so it's not unheard of. But you know that the term "Queer" has been adopted by a whole segment of society that is mostly straight but plays around with people of the dame gender yet don't want to identify as bi. It's become a term for an alternate sexuality outside the constraints of just gay, straight, and bi. But I don't know what effect, if any, that would have on a porn site.

the word doesn't bother me any. i am a girl who likes girls. most of the negative words do not bother me like queer, fag, dyke, etc.
