    WTF? Flash is on its way out - going the way of the dinosaur...

    Because...Flash negatively impacts the visibility, usability and SEO of your website...

    flash should go it sucks, html5 is better, but i wana see more html5 games like Facebook games

    and i havnt seen any good examples of html5 with use of webcam i.e. cam sites its supposed to be able to do webcam stuff

    Apple doesn't support flash on its iPhones/iPads because it is a resource hog, it is unsecure, etc... I can understand that, but I don't see flash going away any time soon.

    That's a silly way to look at it. It's been true for a long time and the alternative (AJAX) isn't SEO-friendly either.

    I agree that lack of support for Flash on iPhone and iPad is a much bigger deal.

    depends on how flash is used. we only use it for delivery of DRM protected streaming video, which it does cross-platform quite well. flash isn't perfect by any means, but the good outweigh the bad for the most part... let's just say that, until recently, 95% of the population could watch videos using one technology. hopefully the next best html5 mechanism for delivery will be similarly as universal. i do _not_ want to go back to the multiple codec, multiple player days.

    HTML5 can't do DRM, nor can it do advanced streaming the way Flash and even Sliverlight can

    Come to think of it, the Youtube HTML5 experience was painful when I last tried it and Google is trying to force their own product as an HTML5 standard while Apple wants H.264

    Not quite all... Aligators and Crocodiles are still here and will be here way after us humans

    but flash will also not be supported in windows 8 when NOT running IE in desktop mode... in metro mode IE will NOT support flash either
