Bad Massive Wild Fire Heading Our Way

US Air Force, Firemen, etc. are trying to battle this fire. It's currently 6-8 miles from where we live / work.

So far no injuries or property damage. They say it's contained. We just drove over there, it's getting bigger. It's on a mountain and you can watch the flames dropping down the mountain. It's really windy out tonight as well.

It's kind of neat, KIND OF neat to watch it. But yet it's scary. You hear every year about wild fires destroying homes, killing people, etc.

We can see it out our window. They are still battling it. Since I did this post it's burned through another 600 acres. It seems to be confined only on the mountain.
Right now, all you see and smell is smoke. I walked outside this morning and thought someone was making smores

. I was ticked off because nobody invited me! :wife:

but it's the smell of smoke from the fire.

Actually, the fire seems to be contained now... There's still a fire up there, but it's not as bad.

It just dawned on me! This would have been a great B Line for a movie! DAMMIT! LOL
