Your Oldest Site?

Our oldest site is thaigayboys.com, and next month it will turn 13! It is still listed in the old Yahoo directory, it brings in steady revenue and after a recent refresh it is our best converting site this month: 1:48. I never thought that when I started that site (as way to tide me over hard times), I would still be working on it in 2011.

How old is your oldest site?

I put up www.DudeLodge.com by at least 1997, when the newsgroups were turning out to be unreliable method to market my VHS tapes.

Then split off the non-sexual nude male content to www.TriangleDream.com sometime later.

Our first site was boymegaplex, that one opened back in 2001

webmastersguide.com was launched in May 1998. Today it's a museum, a trip down memory lane showing what the industry was like in the early days. On the downloads page you can find the very first thumbnail gallery software. Using this innovative software, webmasters no longer had to make thumbnails one at a time.

Our oldest was 10 years old in August and we think it's just the right time for a major rebuild.

Badpuppy officially turned 16 this last May 17th, which is when we began charging credit cards for membership in May of 1995, but was around prior to that, accepting checks and money orders and then prior to that earlier in the 1990's as a popular BBS.

After so many sites opening and closing, quick hits and runs, it's really nice to see companies who are holding on!

Our oldest site, Squirtz.com was created in 1999, updating every weeks for 12 years!

My first TGP was a site called "Tofu's Hoes", started in 2003. Domain: tofushoes.com. People always thought it was a shoe site. It actually did very well as a BBW site and had a long submission cue in it's hey day. I recently let the domain go (stupid, huh), but still have the memories! :sad:

I've been doing some quite by accident research on expired adult domain names that still seem to have good providence. I just got hold of hotmaletgp.com and theporngod.com is it worth holding onto these and re-vitalising their sites? I'd like any views or opinions?

That hotmaletgp one is great ... and now I'm kicking myself for letting wanktgp go a couple months back. As to theporngod ... I don't know its history, maybe some other member of GWW has a clue and can enlighten both of us.

Oh, and my oldest porn site was/is a lesbian freesite hub, LesbianPorn4Free.com, registered in Sept. 2003 and in desperate need of an overhaul, which is also the case with my first gay hubsite: GayDicks4You.com, registered two days later in Oct, 2003. Both were up and online before the end of 2003.

However, my OLDEST site is a mainstream literature site for lesbians, and was established in 1999.

I still own my first domain but i have revamped it several times. My second oldest domain, however,is Sjayne.com and is the same crappy link list design it was back then. Complete with nearly every site promoted on it no longer existing.

rawtop.com is my oldest site - it turns 10 this coming January. Didn't do much with it the first few years though...

My mainstream business site goes back to 1999.
