Samsung and Apple are still fighting like mad, and now in the latest round Samsung has filed for preliminary injunctions on the iPhone 4S in Japan and Australia. This is just a week after Apple was granted their injunction which stops Samsung from selling their Galaxy 10.1in Australia.

The latest injunction by Samsung is claiming that Apple is illegally using its patented wide band technologies WCDMA and HSPA in Australia and Japan, plus Apple is illegally using its patented user interface technologies, specifically for the 'in flight mode' indicator.

This is turning out to be a huge battle between the two tech giants. Apple has already won an injunction in Germany, which is stopping the Galaxy 10.1 from being sold almost everywhere in the European Union. And Samsung is not taking it sitting back!

A Samsung spokesperson said, "In light of these violations, Samsung believes the sale of such Apple devices should be banned. Apple has continued to violate our patent rights and free ride on our technology. We will no longer stand idly by and will steadfastly protect our intellectual property,"
