Samsung announced that it plans on introducing phones with flexible displays in early 2012, followed by their debut in tablets and other devices soon after.

In September, a concept-phone called the Samsung Galaxy Skin made the round on the interwebs. The Galaxy Skin was a super-thin device that could be bent – and nearly rolled. Check out this quick video clip to see it in action.

Both Nokia and Toshiba also showed off their flex screens at shows recently too. Here's a clip of a Nokia phone being demonstrated at Nokia World.

It seems this is the technology of the near future, should be interesting to see how these companies use this technology in their devices and who is able to make the most of them!
