MSNBC reported on a new study released this week showing how radiation from WiFi devices like laptops & smart phones damages men's sperm.
Argentinian scientists studied sperm from 29 healthy men, introducing the sperm to WiFi radiation from a nearby laptop. After a short period of time, 25% of the sperm were dead (compared to just 14% in the control group). And nine percent of the sperm showed DNA damage, 3 times more than the control samples. A separate test with a laptop that was on, but with no WiFi, showed negligible EM radiation from the machine alone.
This follows studies released earlier this year that link smartphone WiFi radiation to lazy and/or damaged sperm, plus a urology report from last year that links laptop high heats to further damaged sperm.
Bottom line: Don't use your laptop, smart phone, iPad or other WiFi-enabled devices on your lap....especially if you are ever planning on having kids!
