G+ traffic & user count way up!

Chitika Insights has released new stats on Google+ traffic and user counts that show G+ is becoming extremely popular.

“Between the months of September to November, Google+ saw a 118% increase in overall online activity. From September to October Google+ posted the biggest growth figures (55%), followed by a growth in online activity of 41% between October and November, as seen in the graph below.”

The report says growth was due to integration of G+ with other Google services, plus heavy advertising and increasing functionality and accessibility. Google's comments on the report were that people will be "shocked" by an announcement Google will be making soon about its growth, confirming that these numbers are a great indication.

Hmmm...my personal G+ is as dead as the dead sea scrolls. I have plenty of contacts on there but only 1 (!) person is active, and he mainly seems to be babbling to himself there.

I've been afraid to do any advertising with G+ with as quick as Google is to delete accounts that violate their TOS (which even a false name can get an account deleted). I use G+ for my personal account, but I'm not confidant of using it for my porn blog account since I use it for all my associate accounts. Perhaps if Google's ban-hammer wasn't Google-wide I'd consider doing more.

Otherwise, I'm sticking to Twitter and Tumblr for getting word out about my blog and attempting to attract incoming users. Of course, I'm a low-traffic'd bottom feeder, so what do I know?

It's facebook with new interface. DOn't see anyone in my list using it at all, those who did stopped. It's would be the same people anyway - 80% inane crap of them bitching about something, clever sayings people repeat, funny photos and what someone's eating right that second.
