Expiring Usernames

Is there any good reason why a username has to expire? I really don't like being harassed with emails telling me my account has expired and I better use it soon.

I'm sure it generates lots of people logging in and doing a post, but it's just another pain in the ass thing I don't need to be bothered with, I'll post when I feel like posting.

Um sweetie -- Lee made it seem that you had to post, but you don't ... you do need to login to keep the account live. At least that's how the board is setup at the moment. All things are subject to change of course

And you should post anyways, as I miss your fuzzy face.
