15 gayest cities list released ... some of these don't make sense. Especially #1

Little Rock, Knoxville and SLC?! Really?

I can't turn around without bumping into a gay person here and Salt Lake City is gayer than this place?

Denver is party city! That's probably why. There's a lot of clubs there and their pride fest is huge. Good times

Denver doesn't surprise me. That's a fun city. I also know lots of awesome gays that were born and raised there.

Still ... Salt Lake City ... that is such a conservative city! Still is.

Can't picture Grand Rapids as a most gay city either. The heart of Dutch Christian conservatism in the US. The gay community is pretty supportive there but no more than Lansing or Ferndale.

Actually, the criteria they used is kind of a lame. They went with things like number of adult bookstores, where the semifinalists of International Mister Leather Competition call home and lots of other things most people wouldn't consider an indicator.

Probably would have been wiser to look for the number of cities with hotels that predominately cater to gay people ... or just ask 500 people "what cities do you think are the gayest?" I'm sure they'd get a lot of different cities (at least some) than that list.

Where's Philly on that list, this is a really gay city downtown at least I mean even the official street signs are rainbow colored WTF and we aren't in the top 10
