Movie Dollars Shuts Down Custom Whitelabel Theatres
From the Email Bag: Attention MovieDollars Webmasters that currently use our custom theater system.
Mastercard has begun to enforce long standing rules and regulations on processing transactions and URLs.
Due to their rules we can no longer offer affiliate owned URLs on custom theaters.
As of today we are no longer offering the option to have custom URLs associated with white label theaters, UNLESS the URL can be transferred to our ownership and we feel there is potential for significant earnings. If you would like to do this we would need a signed agreement to transfer to us along with a clause to transfer it back to you at anytime.
All theaters will now exist on ct.vod.com.
All end users are still assigned to your theater and your affiliate ID, only the address bar is changing.
We are also taking this time to eliminate under performing theaters. Any theaters that didn't make a minimum are now redirected to one of our default custom theaters.
Those theaters will continue to have the affiliate ID on the links, but no longer exist in our system.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Email affiliate@moviedollars.com with any questions.

HotMovies has owned (registered and paid for) the domain name www.DudeLodgeVOD.com for my white label theater since 2005.
No problem with other aspects of domain name law (cyber squatting) - they will give it to me on request.

over the last week we've rebuilt our server clusters to greatly improve page load times. We're gearing up for our big launch in April.

On the other hand.... You have different fingers
We've spoken to James about this regarding our white labels. James has said that they are shutting down white labels that are not hosted and domains not owned by them for the reasons.
We have 2 white labels with them. They own the domains. They host them. Because we've sent traffic, we are not affected by this.
My suggestion to anyone is to e-mail James at: James (at) Moviedollars.com in regards to this. He's been very helpful! He's a good guy as well.
