    any weekend plans?

    got any big plans this weekend? My friends just moved into their new condo so we will be popping a bottle of champers to celebrate :cheers:

    It's bowling on Saturday night and a MTB race (51 km / 31.7 miles -- 1100m / 3600 ft elevation gain) on Sunday morning. Plus a bit of work before and after.

    I'm learning my new SONY SLT-A55 camera, 16MP stills, 1920x1080i AVCHD video.

    Toast likes the AVCHD files, and Final Cut Pro likes the .mov files Toast made.

    I got the GPS function to work (you need to stand outside like a dummy for a few minutes the first time, to synch-up the satellites).

    And, I got the carrying strap attached. (I did the AVCHD video tests first).

    Next I'm working on the power zoom during video shooting.

    We're installing a walk-in tub .... right after we tear out and replace a section of floor that got ruined and moldy from a leak under the old one.

    ... it's never just go and do something around here without having to fix something else first~! :worker:

    stay in bed! , increase your vitamin C tablets to 2 in morning and 2 at night ( or increase the lemon wedges in your mixed cocktail drinks ... it won't help the cold but your not going anywhere and it will make the time passing more pleasurable. - LOL ) , your not going to feel like eating anything but at least eat soup stay bundled even if it's so hot you can't stand it and most important get well!
