xvideos.com FLV URL

Hi guys, please bear with me on this. I'm having difficulty explaining my problem So I downloaded the CSV file of xvideos.com DB and created a script to extract all the gay videos. My purpose is to import all the gay videos to my MechBunny script. MechBunny requires the FLV URL so that it can generate 10 thumbnails. If you have been to fapgay.com you will see these thumbs rotating when you mouseover on a video. The problem is, xvideos provides the embed code but it doesn't show the FLV URL of the video. The embed code only shows the SWF file (http://static.xvideos.com/swf/flv_player_site_v4.swf) and a flashvar value (id_video=2340628). Combining it would produce http://static.xvideos.com/swf/flv_pl..._video=2340628 which can be played on the browser.

My question is, how is it possible that fapgay.com was able to generate thumbnails if the FLV URL is not shown? I mean, the only way for MechBunny to generate the thumbs is if I suppy the FLV URL, which is easy because in some of the tube sites, the FLV URL is shown in the embed code.

does xvideos have an affiliate program? If yes, get in touch with them and ask for their list of flv videos.

Before you do that, think about the piracy you will most likely be supporting (unless you only post short promo clips from xvideos)...

Bad idea... you will be supporting illegal activities and you are liable (even if the videos are not hosted on your server)

I'm not stealing. Xvideos actually lets you download their full DB in a CSV file. The problem is that my MechBunny script cannot extract thumbnails from the DB fields because there's no FLV file.

The problem with Xvideos is that they do not own the licenses for those long videos (>10 mins). It's stolen content from paysite member areas. If you download their database and offer those videos on your own site, you are stealing from producers / original copyright owners.

Like Jesse said, it's probably okay to use the shorter videos (< 5 mins), cause those have been released as promo videos and are probably free to use.

We're trying to save you from a lot of grief gayhoneycum. Just because you see full length videos on a tube site, doesn't mean they are LEGALLY providing them to the surfer. If you want to get in the porn biz, then go sign up with some sponsors, access the content areas and use the flv links they provide for the hosted clips. Setup your script to show that site's banner below the video, attach your affiliate coded link to it, and you're good to go. All tidy, and legal.

I think some of the newbs just really don't have a clue about the very situation mentioned above.

I know ya'll are very busy, but it seems as far as reputable adult webmaster forums goes....this one is the best and most trusted and the folks who come here genuinely want to learn.

Im actually going to close this now, I think the point has been reached / established that XVIDEOS dump is not the way forward.
