Every year the weather is getting more extreme. Just got hit by the worst monsoon rains ever. Flood everywhere, no electricity, water and food. God help us.

Every year the weather is getting more extreme. Just got hit by the worst monsoon rains ever. Flood everywhere, no electricity, water and food. God help us.

That may be a bit of an overstatement. Typhoon Ondoy was much worse in 2009.

The flooding is horrific in some parts of the Manila area and Pampanga, but it is limited to the same areas which get hit time and time again, and the people refuse to learn.

I'm sitting in my home in Pampanga. While we have received tremendous amounts of rain there is no flooding in our immediate area.
