    I mean..what's the point since the world ends Thursday (according to the Mayans that is!)

    The Mayans, or at least their successors, said in a press release that they were wrong when calculating the date. It's 2220 now. Too bad I won't be able to attend.

    Seattle proper just got some flakes (boy..is that an accurate statement in more than one way! Right Luke? LOL) nothing stuck. But just outside of Seattle in the foothills to the east and west, they got several inches..I know the Olympics and Cascades are getting pounded right now which is making the skiers very happy!

    So are you on the End of the World email notice list? LOL

    It started snowing about 3 am here ...and it's sticking. They're predicting 4 to 8 inches of the stuff and high winds for my area of Cleveland. I would have been happy to continue with the mid 50 temps we've been enjoying all through November and December, but I know others have been really wanting a white Christmas. So, we had a White Solstice and celebrated with a few gifts and a nice dinner in the cozy warmth of our home.
