Wilfried Knight (right), an acupuncturist and porn star of French extraction, reportedly committed suicide last week in Vancouver, though his death was only confirmed by friends on Monday night. His husband, Jerry Enriquez, reportedly hanged himself in their home on February 21, 2013 and Knight was the person to discover the body. MORE



With each day that passes I can't help but wonder why "Mother" allows such a horrible species to remain on her beloved Earth.

Indeed sad, but seriously fucked up from the beginning. I'm not sure of all the circumstances surrounding the first suicide, let alone the 2nd one. But the reason given for the first suicide is pretty bad! Then to kill yourself because your partner killed himself...? I mean, having your partner kill himself would be horrific for anyone to go through. I am wondering where Knight's support group was and not picking up on his having any plans to kill himself. Granted, once someone really wants to go through with it, it's a bitch to stop. But I do think the 2nd suicide really leaves those that still live the most problems, and the grief to deal with. All in all..can't help wondering if there was just a little bit too much drugging and or drinking going on in both cases.

At 21 years old I was diagnosed as being bi-polar with borderline personality disorder with PTSD (that's a mouthful!). I can tell you that when the suicidal thoughts came, they came hard and I have multiple attempts under my belt (3 were a hair's width from being successful). I have a sneaky suspicion that Wilfried and perhaps his partner may have suffered from one or more of these disorders.

Adding alcohol and/or drugs to the mix can certainly exasperate the situation. There also seems to be some key information missing also. It's just sad and unnecessary.

I totally relate to you, here. I was diagnosed before the term "bipolar" was invented and they called it "manic depressive". When the suicidal thoughts creep up, they don't easily disappear. I am a divorcee, because of my condition. It takes some serious balls to remove yourself from life. To me, it is certainly not a cowardly act.

It is seriously sad, either way. May they rest in peace.

yep...that's him.. (came to me after I logged off..but was to lazy to log back on! )..last thing I remember about him was that he was at some awards show and limped up onto the stage (cuz he messed up his legs badly trying to kill himself in the fall) to accept some award or something. I think he had THEN become another "Christian".

there were so many versions of what happened , everything from a jealous porn star pushed him to my personal favorite he mistook the window as an exit! - LOL
