Could You Work 9-5 After Going Full Time In Adult?

I honestly dont think i could because i have become so used to doing stuff as it needs doing.

Although i guess if i had to through no choice of my own i could acclimatize back into a 9-5 job but i dont think i would get as much enjoyment out of it.

How about the rest of you?

    Regards,

    Lee

I think I'd end up working nights somewhere. All these freaks out there that I used to sell porn too... I'd rather work nights alone doing someone's books or something
You'll get more with a kind word and a 2 by 4 then you'll get with just a kind word.

Well I think I can... working from home is taking it's toll on me, and on the house.

After 8+ years I think I long for some type of schedule. And for those of you who know me well, that is saying a LOT! So when we get the offices open, I am going to strive for that.

Would I work 9 to 5 for someone else? To quote Luke, "NO WAY!" LOL

Well here's an interesting perspective for you, i work a regular job i'm not saying it's nine to five but this was my day today.

Started at 1am, worked until 2pm.

Drove home, slept for three hours, got up again and spent an hour and a half at the gym,

Went home cooked dinner, ate quickly and then went back to work for an hour to place some orders by which point it was around 9:30pm.

Came home and decided i should come and be sociable and that brings us to now.

So those of you seeking regular jobs that aren't nine to five you know who to ask.

    Cheers,

    Allan

I hated any sort of 9-5 routine when I COULD work away from home, doubt I'd embrace that sort of schedule again... with or without being in the Porn Industry at this point. Maybe a half day sort of routine, that got me out and about for a bit, but not an 8+ job ... ugh!

i've never worked a 9-5 (or 8-4 or anything similar) job. i managed nightclubs, worked in a dungeon, owned phone sex numbers for a while... if a really excellent 9-5 opportunity presented itself, i'd go for it, but it would be WEIRD!!!

most of my time in the industry has been spent in an office on some sort of regular schedule, however... when i worked in an office, i would usually end up on the computer at night doing work, and before i headed to the office. being in sales in this industry, you have to be willing to work whenever your clientelle are around. that means late night/early morning for europe, evenings for the part time webmasters, weekends, etc. I think the biggest problems i face with working from home is that a. i don't leave the house much and b. i don't know when to quit.

You and I both! I find myself working on things until 4am and staying home all the time. That is the only thing I miss about working from home. It was kind of nice to get up, and goto an office.

    Great Question!!!!

I think we all would find that working 9-5 would be less hours

But the truth is we could never get all the things done if we limited ourselves to these hours. Still, I will never get used to the feeling of dread, when the phone rings two hours after I went to bed.
I always think it's family or friends in trouble when it's just a client or support issue at 1:30 a.m. (happened last night)

That is soooo true, ya know now that I think of it a 9-5 job would be nice and relaxing. But I still don't think I can ever work for "the man" again.

    cheers,

Unless he turns you on, right?

    LOL

Actually, I was thinking about getting my Real Estate license here in FLA. Thinking of it as something to do outside of the house every once and a while. But the laws are different here in this state because I MUST work for an exisiting company, for at least 12 months, before I can get a broker/office license.

That, right there, stopped me from doing it. I KNOW I can not work for someone else again.
