    Yahoo Indexing Fictional Pages

Yahoo is picking up a lot of links for my sites, but unfortunately they are picking up folders that never existed on that particular domain. For example; www.cockring.tv/rough/gay-bareback.htm . That folder and page probably exists on another domain of mine but not cockring.tv.

It works out ok because the links are redirecting to my hub page... but I'm afraid I'll get delisted or penalized for this... and believe me, I'm not doing this, yahoo is doing it all by itself.

You do realize by 'gay' I mean a man who has sex with other men?

I have to admit a few months ago i had the same problem with Yahoo.

For some reason it looked to me, like Yahoo was taking a block of ip addresses and for some reason crawling one domain and including the same sub directorys / page names in all of them.

It sorted itself out though after a week or two from what i recall and doesnt seem to have penalized the other domains on the ip block at all.

    No probs dude

Actually i just checked that domain in Yahoo again today and some of the 'fictional' directories are now showing up again.

They may be going through an algorythm change

    Lee
