So Producing a live webcam house is fun but time consuming, you have guys that are basically free to do what they want and the cams and audio has to follow them. sure you can stick in a bunch of cams and let your members hunt and choose, and we have that option BUT the real trick is in allowing the members a tv big brother like experience. Thats why I build our new control room.

The amazing thing with tis is that most of the switching isnt done in the control room, its done at the media server end, we had custom control software written that mixes and changes the streams based on information sent form here. this means we can even do basic switching and use presets from an iphone !!
It still needs someone or preferable 2 people watching and switching , but we can also hand over to "CLAIRE" our home system computer that can switch and mix cams biased on signals form sensors in every room in the hose and data from the boys cell phones ect.
