So Kurtis let me know that he would be departing XTube and Manwin Aug 31.

He was an important person in the adult biz from (at least) 2007-then.

I wonder where he went - if anywhere?

Kurtis was really helpful to me while setting up at XTube. I hope he's doing okay and that XTube will keep being friendly for gay porn and content producers.

I have a sponsor account with XTube and used to let Kurtis know when I uploaded new samples. Does anyone have an idea who I should be in touch with now? Their support area is screwed and am not sure where to turn to.

I just sent them 25 more DVDs, about 2 years old. They just started going live about a week ago,

Since Xtube got rid of the Affiliate pgm (2009-2010) after Manwin took over, I never promote my stuff on Xtube to webmasters here.

I didn't press him for details about his future plans, so it will be fun to learn what he moved in to - if anything.

At one point, he was enjoying doing niteclub DJ.

I miss 2009, when hey had two new membership programs that summer that paid off very well. Then, the day I landed in LA, the site didn't resolve for a few hours, and then revenues plummeted for a month, until leveling off at pitiful.

Drat, that bought some great travel and talent that summer!

I've been away from XTube for too long. I was sending them trailers for my site as well as selling videos there. It did pretty well for me, but it required some attention!
I've got to get back on it!

They are now showing sponsor videos once again. If you had an affiliate program with CCBill you would have been offline that last few weeks. Just noticed my videos showing up again int he last few days.

In your original thread about XTube & Sponsors & CCBill Affiliate programs http://forums.gaywidewebmasters.com/...es-with-CCBill I wrote that as soon as you posted about the situation, I contacted my Rep at CCBill, and she said they would get things worked out with XTube.

Glad - one way or another - that it got resolved.

Back to Kurtis and XTube, the past 6-8 weeks have been much better revenue months than for about 3 2/3 years prior. Back to about Nov 2009


Good for XTube and good for us studios.
